March 2018

Today was my last Flapjack Fundraiser. As usual, it was a great experience because I was able to spend time with my teammates. I got to know the newbies better by first helping them understand their roles on the day of, acknowledging their achievements in selling their tickets, and just hanging out with them at Applebee's. One of the perks of having a large team was that we were able to sell so many tickets and make a lot of money off of raffles. Annie did a very good job in encouraging people to buy them, allowing our total earnings to be over $1.2K! That money will definitely allow us to cover for new jerseys, visors, and other equipment.

I didn't really have many issues today, as I just went around checking in with people about their jobs, helped out if necessary, and filled in any job gaps if they were there. I hope that a good season awaits us!
